Ashiq Arif — Group General Manager

Ashiq Arif is a Group General Manager with over 13 years of GCC experience leading multidisciplinary engineering, construction, and commercial operations across the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and Oman.

As Group General Manager of Abrar Group, he is responsible for the strategic direction and operational performance of the Group’s contracting business, overseeing project delivery, engineering, commercial management, business development, procurement, and regional expansion.

Leveraging a strong background in structural engineering and design-build construction, Ashiq directs the execution of complex industrial, warehouse, and commercial developments from feasibility and tender strategy through engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and final handover. He drives operational excellence by integrating technical governance, commercial discipline, resource optimization, and robust project controls to ensure predictable project outcomes.
